More than 1000 songs have already taken part in the ESC. More than 1000 artists have acted on the ESC stage. And we have also seen lots of different styles: hard rock, ballads, opera, dance music...
Through the years this styles are changing but there's something that remains through decades: the moustache.

Let's see a TOP5 of artists that have acted with a moustache on his face.

#5. Bill van Dijk - Jij en ik (the Netherlands 1982)
His moustache and his hips didn't convince the people at all, even it's quite hypnotizing!

#4. Koza Mostra feat. Agathonas Iakovidis - Alcohol is free (Greece 2013)
The ska group Koza Mostra and Agathonas' moustache received more than 150 points in the final. The last moustache to be in ESC.

#3. Domenico Mondugno - Piove (Italy 1959)
One of the most recognized eurovision artists all over the world HAD A MOUSTACHE on the stage!!! Bravo Domenico!

#2. Dschingis Khan - Dschingis Khan (Germany 1979)
The weirdest german performance. Even the moustache puts a courious smile on our face. Love you Mr Khan.

#1. Brotherhood of Man - Save your kisses for me (the United Kingdom 1976)
Martin Lee form Brotherhood of man is our number 1 today as they were in 1976. His moustache makes us fall in love with him.

In 2014 we're going to have the biggest moustache in ESC ever. It's because of the French song by Twin Twin. Love it or hate it!

TOP5 Addicted to the ESC stage! (San Marino 2014)

Valentina Monetta represents her country, San Marino, for the third time in a row. First, it was 'the social network song', then 'crisalide (vola)' and now 'maybe (forse)', the three songs composed by Ralph Siegel.

She's not the first artist to be three time on the Eurovision Song Contest stage. Even there are some who's been FOUR TIMES!!! But let's see a top5 of artists that have been addicted to the stage.

#5. Domenico Mondugno (Italy 1958, 1959 and 1966).
It was his first time in ESC when he sang his song 'Nel blu dipinto di blu' and it was a succes worldwide; even he failed to win the contest.

#4. Anna Vissi (Greece 1980, 2006 and Cyprus 1982)
She's really famouse in Greece and Cyprus, but it was until his third participation in the contest in 2006 when she starten to be a well-known artist throughout all Europe.

#3. Carola (Sweden 1983, 1991 and 2006)
She won the contest in 1991 and she came back 15 years later but she hadn't the same luck.

#2. Lyss Assia (Switzerland 1956 (x2), 1957 and 1958).
She was the first ever singer to win the Eurovision Song Contest in 1956. Next year, 1957, she came back but she almost stayed at the bottom of the chart. She was so sad that she wanted to come back in 1958 just to win again even she was in a second place.

#1. Udo Jürgens (Austria 1964, 1965, 1966)
The first time was OK, the second was good, but it was until his third participation in ESC when he won with the song 'Merci cherie'.

If Udo Jürgens won it at the third participation, why Valentina can't do it?

TOP5 Barbara Dex Award Winners (Moldova 2014)

Moldova's entry is sang by the unknown singer Cristina Scarlat. The jury voted her original performance as the best in O Melodie Pentru Europa 2014, and even it didn't receive the 12 points from the televote, 'Wild soul' was the winner of the night.

The oddest thing in the performance is the dress she's wearing. A good candidate to win the Barbara Dex Award. Because of this we prepared this TOP5:

TOP5 BARBARA DEX AWARD WINNERS

#5. Debbie Scerri - Let me fly (Malta 1997)
The first winner of this award, nice song, horrible dress.

#4. Rona Nishliu - Suus (Albania 2012)
One of the best songs in 2012 but... what the hell as she wearing??? A table cloth???

#3. Lydia - No quiero escuchar (Spain 1999)
The song was so good! It was nice to hear but horrible to watch. Agatha Ruiz de la Prada please, make towels, schoolbags, pencil cases... but don't do dresses!!!

#2. Michalis Rakintzis - S.A.G.A.P.O (Greece 2002)
It left me speechless... What...? What...? What's that?

It wasn't liked in it's own country because it was chosen internally for the first time in Andorra. But what is she wearing in her head? A spoon???

TOP5 Trans Acts (Austria 2014)

Today, the Austrian broadcaster has presented its song for ESC2014. Despite Conchita Wurst was one of the first artists confirmed to be on the Copenhagen stage, the song is the last one we hear for this year's contest.

Tom Neuwirth participated in Starmania 2007. But he wasn't a recognized artist until people knew his alter ego Conchita Wurst.
She tried to go to Eurovision Song Contest in 2012, but she became second, just behind Trackshittaz. But this year, she has been selected internally by the Austrian broadcaster.

TOP5 TRANS ACTS in Eurovision.

Transvestites, transexuals, transgender, drags... We all love them as you can see in this top5.

#5. DQ - Drama Queen (Denmark 2007)
It didn't qualify for the final, but it was funny!

#4. Dana International - Ding dong (Israel 2011)
It was her coming back to the ESC.

#3. Sestre - Samo Ljubezen (Slovenia 2002)
The first drag queen to be on Eurovision Stage.

#2. Verka Serduchka - Dancing Lasha Tumbai (Ukraine 2007)
She almost had the victory in 2007, luckily, it was Marija Serifovic (another transvestite???) who won that year.

#1. Dana International - Diva (Israel 1998)
It was 16 years ago when this transexual won ESC for ISRAEL!!! It was amazing! I almost cried! (It was my very first ESC)

Even she's not in the final, we consider she must be in this Top5 for such a schlager song.

Even it's not a well-known song, it had a second place in ESC1970.

#3. Hadise - Dum tek tek (Turkey 2009)
Beautiful Hadise with the sound of the drums was fifth on ESC that year.

#2. Charlotte Perrelli (a.k.a. Charlotte Nilsson) - Take me to your heaven / Hero (Sweden 1999/2008)
She won as a cute girl in 1999, and she came back as an alien in 2008. No. Just a joke. I adore her!
