TOP5 Trans Acts (Austria 2014)

Today, the Austrian broadcaster has presented its song for ESC2014. Despite Conchita Wurst was one of the first artists confirmed to be on the Copenhagen stage, the song is the last one we hear for this year's contest.

Tom Neuwirth participated in Starmania 2007. But he wasn't a recognized artist until people knew his alter ego Conchita Wurst.
She tried to go to Eurovision Song Contest in 2012, but she became second, just behind Trackshittaz. But this year, she has been selected internally by the Austrian broadcaster.

Natália Kelly - Shine (Austria 2013)

NATÁLIA KELLY

Aunque nació en Estados Unidos, Natália ha crecido en Austria. Lleva desde los 5 años en el mundo de la música, tocando el piano, la guitarra, cantando ópera... Con tan solo 9 años quedó segunda en el concurso de talentos infantil Kiddy Contest. En 2006 ganó el concurso Prima la musica en la categoria de piano, y en 2011 gana la versión austríaca de The Voice.

SHINE

La canción ganó el Österreich Rockt Den Song Contest con el total apoyo del público, que le dio la máxima puntuación; destacó por encima de las otras 4 candidaturas, aunque el jurado internacional prefería la canción que quedó en segundo lugar: Feels like home de Yela. 

AUSTRIA

Udo Jürgens en su tercera actuación consecutiva en 1966 es el único que ha ganado el festival representando Austria; que es el  país que lleva más años esperando volver a ganar el festival. Siempre había tenido una participación bastante activa, hasta que llegaron las semifinales, donde no han tenido mucha suerte, ni mucha implicación.
